TK Sribhashyam

Sri TK Sribhashyam's Discourses on the Ramayana are published in two volumes collected in a box set. The two Indian epics are the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Yogakshemam's students were able to benefit from Sri TK Sribhashyam's "lectures" on the Mahabharata. The Ramayana has a special status in Indian literature, which is why Sri TK Sribhashyam offered the "discourses" on the Ramayana in the name of his father, Sri T. Krishnamacharya.

Prince Rama battles the forces of evil embodied by the Rakshasa-s, bloodthirsty demons who go so far as to kidnap his own wife, Princess Sita. This results in a war in which the Prince, aided by an army of monkeys and bears, defeats the demons on their island of Lanka in order to free Princess Sita from her captivity.

Sri TK Sribhashyam's discourses cover many topics that run through the narrative, from the philosophy of action to different types of devotion, including the values placed on family and the hidden power of the Ramayana.
